Imphal: Manipur on Sunday recorded 140 fresh COVID-19 positive raising the total commutative cases to 17,162.
According to COVID-19 common control room 138 persons from general population and two personnel from Central Armed Police Force (CAPE) were confirmed as new positive cases.
A total of 138 patients were recovered.
The positive cases were from JN1MS (16), RIMS (41), Grace Nursing Home (1), Kangpokpi (4), Churachandpur (8), Bishnupur (2), Jiribam (4), Imphal East (12), RD Wing (2), Escent Diagnostics (5), Thoubal (8), Shija Hospital (6), CMC (1), Tamenglong (5), Advance Hospital (3), Babina Diagnostics (18), Senapati (2) and Jivan Hospital (2).
One person aged 72 years (female, Imphal East) expired at RIMS. The cumulative number of deaths stood at 139.
The number of active cases was 4,166 (general population – 3,877 and central security personnel – 289). The recovery rate was 74.91 percent.
