Imphal; The Kumbi Urban Development Committee (KUDC), an apex body of CSOs, Clubs & NGOs in Kumbi area had taken up an initiative to clean the road covered with mud from paddy fields.
On Sunday, volunteers of (KUDC) cleaned road from Kubmi Bridge to Kumbi Police station stretching 2 kms.
W. Rockychand Singh said appealed to paddy field owners and tractor/truck owners used in harvesting, to take necessary care so that muds from the fields are not spread on road.
Volunteers of KUDC will continue the exercise every Sunday, he added.
