Two injured at bomb blast in RIMS

Imphal: Two persons were injured in a bomb blast in RIMS campus on Monday. The incident occurred at around 9:30 am.

The injured persons were identified as a couple from Kangpokpi, who were coming for treatment in RIMS. They were identified as Papao (40) S/o Thanglen and his wife Hoipi (28) from Kangpokpi.

Speaking to medipersons, DIG, Themthing Ngashangba condemned the blast citing it as a coward act and assured that the culprits will be arrested soon. He said planting bomb in hospitals will only hurt the innocent persons coming for the treatments.
