Imphal: As what is termed by chief minister of Manipur, N. Biren Singh, five persons were arrested in connection with drug issues.
A team of NAB PS on Thursday arrested one person Ngamkholal Lupheng, 35, son of Jangsai Lupheng, resident of Molcham Village, Churachadndpur district, from Langol Tarung Village near Tarung Auto Parking and seized 38 Caps containing Heroin No. 4, weighing 502 grams excluding Caps. A case has been registered at NAB PS in this regard for investigation, police said.
In another move team of Leingangtabi post along with Sandangkhong youth club detected three 3 drug users along with some quantity of drugs. In the follow up another user was nabbed who supplied the drugs. They were later handed over to concerned police station for further necessary action.
