Imphal: State police detected a New Route of drug smugglers with the recovery of World is Yours (WY) tablets.
In an operation conducted by inspector K. Bobby, OC-NAB PS and team, on Saturday at Yeason Village, PS Kasom Khullen, Kamjong district, recovered about two lakhs WY Methamphetamine tablets from one house of the village from which two unknown youths were reported seen running away taking advantage of the terrain and thick groves.
It was found that the house belonged to one SP Mayonmi 60, son of SP Laiching, resident of Yeason Village, PS Kasom Khullen, Kamjong district. During the operation, the house owner was found absent. A case has been registered, police said.
