Two die of COVID-19, recovery rate stands at 87.50 percent


Imphal: Two COVID-19 patients aged 70 years (female, Thoubal) and 78 years (male, Chandel) expired at RIMS (1) and JNIMS Hospital (1) respectively.

The cumulative number of deaths has risen to 322.

With the discharge of 116 COVID patients the recovery rate stood at 87.50 percent.

In the past twenty-four hours, 153 persons from general population and 24 personnel from Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) were confirmed as new positive cases.

The cumulative number of positive cases was 27,036 and the number of active cases was 3,057.
