Imphal: Troops of Assam Rifles intercepts a pickup van transporting illegal footwear in bulk from Myanmar towards Imphal on Monday.
On examining the vehicle, 17 bags containing 570 pair of illegal shoes worth over Rs 8 Lakh were recovered.
The recovered items along with the detainees have been handed over to customs department for further investigation.
