Imphal: Manipur chief minister N. Biren Singh has declared that there is no UK Covid strain in Manipur after confirming negative of the sample of one UK returnee which was sent to Pune.
“Happy news, UK returnee…is covid Negative at NIV Pune. So no UK strain at Manipur till today,” CM Biren said on his Facebook post on Thursday.
The sample of the UK returnee was sent on January 4 to Pune from Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal.
