Air passengers coming from Kerala, Maharashtra to be tested for Covid-19

Imphal: Manipur government has declared that all passengers coming from Kerala and Maharashtra to Manipur will be tested for Covid-19.

A notice issued on Monday by directorate of health services, Manipur said due to recent resurge of Covid-19 positive cases in the states of Maharashtra and Kerala, all passengers coming by air from these two states will be tested for Covid-19 with effect from Wednesday.

The passengers will be tested on regular basis soon after their arrival at Bir Tikendrajit International Airport, Imphal, Manipur until further notification, the notification said.
