Link-Art centre launched at Assam Rifles hospital

Imphal: A Link-ART Centre, the 11th in the state of Manipur was launched at the Assam Rifles Multi-specialty Hospital, HQ IGAR (S).

A number of eminent Medical personalities, including Dr Sapam Ranjan Singh, health advisor to chief minister of Manipur, Shrimati Haobam Rosita, project director, MACS, Dr Maninder Manihani, national consultant, NACO, ministry of health and welfare, Dr Lucy Duidang, Joint director, MACS, professor Dhanaraj Chongtham, head of department and program director, Centre of Excellence, RIIMS, Professor N Kameshore, project director, Paediatric Centre of Excellence, JNIMS, teams from MACS, ART Centre RIMS, Share India and I-TECH India attended the launching event.

The Link-ART Centre will facilitate treatment of troops and families of Assam Rifles afflicted by HIV/AIDS, providing counselling, testing facilities as well as medication.
