Imphal: Sapermeina Police of Manipur has arrested three persons in connection with robbing of LPG bullet tanker drivers at L. Khengjang along National Highway-2, Kangpokpi district on Thursday.
The LPG tankers bearing registration No.MN05C- 0385, MN04P-0418 and MNO5C-0368 were returning from Assam heading towards Imphal. The unknown miscreants had robbed a cash of Rs 7,000, Rs 3,000 and Rs 2,000 from the drivers respectively.
The miscreants had also damaged the windshields and side glass of all the tankers by pelting stones.
In this connection three persons has been arrested by Sapermeina Police Station and investigation is going on, police said.
