Imphal: Six new Covid-19 cases were confirmed while three covid patients were recovered and discharged on Friday in Manipur.
The new cases were two each from Imphal East and Thoubal, and one each from Kakching and Tengnoupal districts.
There was no report of Covid related death in the past 24 hours, state Covid-19 common control room said. The cumulative number of deaths was 374.
The three recovered patients were discharged from home isolation (2) and SHRI (1).
The cumulative number of positive cases was 29,373. The number of active cases was 60 and the recovery rate was 98.52 percent.
Till Thursday 84, 235 persons including 31, 457 health care workers were vaccinated.
At Imphal airport 77 persons were tested. No persons were found positive. Till date 1, 582 passengers have been tested for the contagion at the airport.
