Imphal: Nine new Covid-19 positive cases were confirmed in Manipur on Sunday while people celebrates Yaoshang festival.
The new cases were from Imphal East (2), Imphal West (2), Thoubal (2), Bishnupur (1), Churachandpur (1) and Senapati (1).
All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place, state Covid-19 common control room said.
There was report of Covid related death in the last 24 hours, it said. The cumulative number of deaths was 374.
At least four Covid patients were recovered and discharged from CAPF (1), home isolation (1) and JNIMS (2).
The cumulative number of positive cases was 29,385. The number of active cases was 63 and the recovery rate was 98.51 percent.
Air passengers who travelled to the state on March, 27 by indigo flight 6E-2019 in rows 9-14, 22-28 and by Air Asia Flight 15 rows 12-18 to inform the Common Covid Control Room 1800343818 or respective District Surveillance Officers (DSO), the control room said.
