Imphal: In Manipur, seven persons were confirmed as new Covid-19 positive cases in 24 hours, Manipur Covid-19 Common Control Room said on Tuesday.
The positive persons were tested at JNIMS (2), Shija Hospital (1), Asian Hospital (1), Tamenglong (2) and Raj Medicity (1).
They belonged to Imphal East (1), Imphal West (3), Bishnupur (1) and Tamenglong (2).
All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place, the control room said.
In the last 24 hours, there was no report of death. The cumulative number of deaths was 374, it added. A Covid-19 patient belonging to CAPF was discharged.
The cumulative number of positive cases rose to 29,435 and the number of active cases to 63. The recovery rate as on Tuesday was 98.51 percent.
Till Monday 88,642 individuals including 31,733 healthcare workers had been vaccinated.
