Imphal: Manipur power minister Thongam Biswajit Singh has instructed the State Power Distribution Company Limited (MSPDCL) officials to ensure system strengthening to improve quality of power supply and eventually increase income.
Biswajit also instructed all DGMs to verify if there is any left out villages so that electrification can be provided to left out areas at the earliest.
The minister gave the instruction during review meeting of the Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited (MSPDCL) he chaired at the conference hall of his New Secretariat office, here on Thursday.
The MSPDCL officials highlighted the achievements and progress of ongoing projects in the State.
The minister directed that all officials and staff should take up all necessary works and precautions before the arrival of monsoon to ensure uninterrupted supply of power in the state.
The review meeting was also attended by MSPDCL managing director Ng. Subhachandra and DGMs, an official report said.
