Imphal: One expired of Covid-19 and 10 more persons including one central security force personnel have been tested positive for Covid-19 pushing the active cases to 107 in Manipur on Sunday.
In the past twenty-four hours (Saturday 4 pm-Sunday 4 pm), one 59 years old Covid-19 positive man from Imphal West passed away at Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal.
The fresh positive cases from the general population belonged to Imphal East (2), Imphal West (6) and Kakching (1).
All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place, Covid-19 common control room said.
Three persons were discharged from home isolation.
At present cumulative number of Covid related death cases reached 376. The cumulative number of positive cases rose to 29,496. The recovery rate is 98.36 percent.
Air passengers who travelled to the state on April 10 by Air Asia flight 15-7008 in rows -11 are to inform the Common Covid Control Room 18003453818 or respective district surveillance officers immediately, the control room said.
As on Saturday 92, 948 individuals including 31, 939 health care workers have been vaccinated against the contagion.
Forty-five air passengers were tested in Imphal, out of which one person was found positive for the contagion. The cumulative number of positive air passengers was 51 as on Sunday.
