‘No salary for colleges failing to score minimum Credit Point of NAAC’

Imphal: Colleges in Manipur should work to get minimum credit score of 2.5 of National Assessment and Accreditation Council, NAAC, salaries for the staff of those colleges failing to score the minimum credit point may be held up.

This was said by education minister S. Rajen said on the closing function of the DM College Week Celebration, 2021 on Monday.

Department of education (U) will issue a notice in the regard, he said.

Principal of the college of science Dr M. Bhumeshwari Devi said the staff and teachers of the college is working to get the credit score of NAAC at the maximum. She said there are deficits in many areas of the college which need immediate attention of the government. She also explained about the rich manpower resources of the DM University.

Minister also distributed certificates and trophies to those meritorious students of the college who have shown their outstanding performances during the College Week celebration.

Minister Rajen also inaugurated One Day Sensitisation Programme on National Education Policy at United College Chandel.
