Imphal: Troops of Moreh Battalion under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) seized arms and ammunition from a house in Zoujang forest area near Moreh on Saturday.
During the well planned and executed operation, one assault rifle with magazine, ammunition and two Chinese hand grenades were recovered, the Assam Rifles said on Monday .
The seized items were handed over to Moreh Police for further legal action, it added.
