Imphal: Khundrakpam Assembly Segment Covid Awareness Cum Enforcement Committee resolved to set up three Community Home Isolation Centres in three different areas of the Assembly Constituency.
It was resolved during a meeting held at the office chamber of the chairman of the enforcement committee, MLA Th. Lokeshwar, here on Thursday.
The meeting resolved to set up three isolation centres in at RK Sanatombi Vidyalaya, Haotel; Kanan Devi Memorial School, Pangei; and Naorem Birahari College, Khundrakpam.
The Khundrakpam MLA shall look after the arrangement if centre in respect of cleanliness and to make it functional. State home department shall provide security personnel to monitor the centres round the clock regarding law and order, it resolved. Health department shall provide and make available the required medical staff, doctors and nurses, medicines, ambulance, oxygen and other medical related materials round the clock, it resolved.
It was also resolved that any unwanted situation, arises to any Covid patients at the centres, shall be the responsibility of health department. All Covid patients at the centres shall be looked after by the health department.
Deputy Commissioner, Imphal East shall requisite the centres in the interest of general public and shall look after the arrangement of drinking water and electricity at the centres.
The state government shall bear the expenses for the items of lodging and fooding, the meeting resolved.
