Imphal: Education and fishery Mmnister S. Rajen Singh has assured for financial assistance to Covid-19 infected families in Lamsang Assembly Constituency.
Rajen said the financial assistances will also be directly transferred to their respective bank accounts.
Speaking to media during a supervising visit to the Covid-19 infected localities, containment zones and families of Lamsang Assembly Constituency, Rajen said the second wave of Covid-19 should not be taken lightly. He advised the public to be aware of the pandemic and SoPs should also be maintained accordingly.
He maintained that everyone has the role to contain this pandemic. Local clubs and organisations have also been urged to play a role during this juncture. We should keep ourselves healthy. Anxiety and stress should be evaded during this pandemic, he added.
He also distributed food items, medicines and oxymeters to the infected families of the Constituency.
Rajen urged the Constituency people to communicate to Covid Consultative Committee of the Constituency.
