Imphal: Ten Covid-19 patients expired in 24 hours while 847 more people got infected with the contagion in Manipur.
The 10 Covid-19 victims were from Imphal West (4), Imphal East (4), Bishnupur (1) and Kangpokpi (1).
The new positive cases belonged to Imphal East (146), Imphal West (301), Thoubal (37), Bishnupur (56), Kakching (50), Ukhrul (5), Churachandpur (23), Chandel (1), Senapati (147), Tamenglong (21), Tengnoupal (4), Kangpokpi (6), Jiribam (14), Kamjong (4), Noney (2), Pherzawl (8) and CAPF (22).
A total of 379 Covid patients were recovered.
Total death cases have risen to 730, cumulative positive cases to 46,298 and active to 7,243.
The recovery rate is 82.77 percent, state Covid-19 common control room said on Wednesday.
A total of 355793 individuals have been vaccinated so far.
