Imphal: In 24 hours 579 Covid-19 patients were recovered while the contagion claimed 13 lives and infected 732 more persons in Manipur.
The recovered patients were discharged from CAPF (24), Home Isolation (472), RIMS (5), JNIMS (4), BB (7), NSU (13), SHRI (14), RD Wing (2), LANVA (6), Babina Speciality Hospital (1), CCC Lamboikhongnangkhong (11), Thoubal (3), Ukhrul (7) and Churachandpur (10).
The new positive cases belonged to Imphal East (170), Imphal West (213), Thoubal (83), Bishnupur (73), Kakching (64), Ukhrul (19), Churachandpur (62), Chandel (4), Senapati (5), Tamenglong (6), Tengnoupal (1), Kangpokpi (19), Jiribam (3), Noney (3), CAPF (1) and Pherzawl (6).
All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place, Covid-19 common control room said, on Friday.
The death case belonged to Imphal West (4), Imphal East (4), Bishnupur (2), Thoubal (2) and Ukhrul (1),
The total number of discharged persons is 579; active cases is 7,602; and the recovery rate is 82.51 percent, the control room said.
So far, as per the latest information, 370500 persons have been vaccinated.
