Imphal: Moreh Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) extended assistance to Adullam Drug Rehabilitation Centre, Moreh on Friday.
In order to assist the rehabilitation centre to tide over the lockdown induced difficulties, essential commodities, masks, gloves, sanitizers and daily use items were provided to the rehabilitation centre. The battalion also presented sports equipment and sewing machines to the rehabilitation centre.
The inmates were also educated about Covid-19 protocols like maintaining social distancing, wearing of masks and regular washing to hands to safeguard themselves.
The rehabilitation centre administrators expressed their heartfelt gratitude and appreciated the endeavour of Assam Rifles.
