Imphal: Chandel police team and medical team on Thursday conducted random testing of Covid including violators of government restriction at Chandel Ima market of Chandel Bazar.
The random covid test was conducted under the supervision of SP Chandel and CMO CDL.
A total of 220 persons were tested for Covid-19, out of which 20 (male -9, female0-11) were found positive.
“Well done Chandel police team and medical team,” chief minister N. Biren Singh said.
He urged people to maintain government regulations and SoP strictly.
At Moreh Bazar Tengnoupal Police team and medical team conducted random testing of Covid-19. Out of 198 persons tested, two were found positive.
Biren salutes them.
