Imphal: Wuhan Corona virus took 10 lives infecting 621 people while the virus freed 783 patients in 24 hours, in Manipur.
The 621 fresh cases were confirmed positive out of 5767 test results released on Thursday.
The Covid deaths belonged to Imphal East (5), Imphal West (1), Kakching (2), Chandel (1) and Thoubal (1). The cumulative number of deaths is 849.
The fresh positive cases were from Imphal East (137), Imphal West (266), Thoubal (67), Bishnupur (51), Kakching (13), Ukhrul (3), Churachandpur (17), Chandel (15), Senapati (1), Tamenglong (28), Tengnoupal (8), Kangpokpi (11), Pherzawl (2) Jiribam (1) and CAPF (1).
“Today, 783 persons were discharged, out of which 591 are from home isolation, 20 are from RIMS and the rest 172 are from other Covid care facilities,” Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 52,899. The number of active cases is 8,863. The recovery rate is 81.64 percent, the control room said.
“Today, another case of Black Fungus has been reported from Raj Medicity, a 37 years old female from Bishnupur district. The cumulative Black Fungus cases is 3,” the control room said.
A total of 401133 individuals have been vaccinated.
