Homage paid to martyrs of Assam Rifles

Imphal: ​Lieutenant General Pradeep Chandran Nair, Ati Vishisht Seva Medal (AVSM), Yudh Seva Medal (YSM), DG Assam Rifles laid a wreath at the Assam Rifles War Memorial, Laitkor, Shillong on Tuesday to pay homage to the Martyrs who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.

The general officer laid his first wreath after taking over the prestigious appointment of Director General of the Assam Rifles popularly known as Sentinels of the North-East.
