Imphal: Manipur on Friday recorded a recovery of 1105 Covid-19 patients, 19 Covid-19 related deaths and 687 fresh cases.
Out of 7820 Covid test results 687 were confirmed positive for Covid-19 on Friday. The positivity rate was 8.78 percent.
Of the Covid-19 victims seven belonged to Imphal West, three each to Churachandpur, Imphal East and Thoubal, and one each to Bishnupur, Kakching and Ukhrul.
The cumulative number of deaths is 944, the state Covid-19 common control room said.
The new positive cases belonged to Imphal East (156), Imphal West (230), Thoubal (59), Bishnupur (58), Kakching (63), Ukhrul (1), Churachandpur (64), Chandel (4), Senapati (6), Tamenglong (2), Tengnoupal (9), Kangpokpi (11), Kamjong (1), Pherzawl (9), Jiribam (9), Noney (4) and CAPF (1).
“Today, 643+462 = 1105 persons were discharged, out of which 464 are from home isolation, 24 are from RIMS (15) and JNIMS (9) and the rest 155 are from other Covid care facilities. The 462 individuals which are reported today only due to various reasons. The total number of recovered cases is considered as 1105 after reconciliation with reports from IDSP Team, Home Isolation Team, Community Home Isolation Team and Hospitalization Team as on 10th June, 2021,” the control room said.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 58,768. The number of active cases is 8,922. The recovery rate is 83.21 percent, it added.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 1622 D-type oxygen cylinders and 541 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur. District hospitals and government institutions have 386D, 79B filled cylinders out of these Bishnupur (65D,7B), Chandel (32D,7B), Churachandpur (75D,OB), Senapati (32D,013), Thoubal (66D,20B), Ukhrul (18D,0B), Tamenglong (21D,513), Jiribam(35D,10B), Moreh(12D,38), Kamjong (3D,1B), Kangpokpi (5D,OB), Kakching (14D,24B), Noney(2D,OB) and Pherzawl (6D,2B), the control room said.
As per the latest information the total number of persons vaccinated is 457600, it added.
