Imphal: Board of Secondary Education Manipur and Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur have cancelled matric and higher secondary examinations for the current year.
Board of Secondary Education Manipur on Wednesday notified for cancellation of High School Leaving Certificate Examination, 2021 in wake of Covid-19.
The board in its notification issued on Wednesday said in view of the uncertain conditions due to Covid-19 pandemic and the feedback obtained from various stakeholders, it is hereby notified for information of all concerned that the High School Leaving Certificate Examination, 2021 is cancelled.
Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur on the same day declared that the Higher Secondary and Class XI Examinations, 2021 stand cancelled.
The modus operandi of the award of marks and certificates to the students will be done with due approval of the government, the notification said.
