Imphal: Covid-19 took lives of 13 patients and infected 495 persons while 485 patients were recovered in 24 hours in Manipur.
Manipur Covid-19 common control room on Thursday said the fresh positive persons were from general population are from Imphal East (106), Imphal West (143), Thoubal (45), Bishnupur (48), Kakching (18), Ukhrul (19), Churachandpur (54), Chandel (4), Senapati (3), Tamenglong (29), Tengnoupal (10), Kangpokpi (6) Pherzawl (7) and CAPF (3).
The positivity rate was 8.4 percent.
In the last 24 hours, the State Level Covid 19 Deaths Audit Committee has reported 13 Covid 19 deaths. The district wise distributions are Imphal West (2), Imphal East (6), Kakching (1), Bislmupur (1), Kangpokpi (2) and Ukhrul (1). The facility wise distributions are RIMS (3), JNIMS (4), Shija Hospital (4), Raj Medicity (1) and DH Ukhrul (1). The cumulative number of deaths is 1021, the control room said.
“Today, 458 persons were discharged, out of which 376 are from home isolation, 6 are from RIMS (5) and JNIMS (1) and the rest 76 are from other Covid care facilities,” it added.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 62,343. The number of active cases is 9,102. The recovery rate is 83.76 percent, it said.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 1856 D-type oxygen cylinders and 432 B- type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur. District hospitals and government institutions have 426D, 99B filled cylinders out of these Bishnupur (68D,OB) Chandel(30D,7B), CCpur (66D,OB), Senapati(49D,OB), Thoubal (77D,34B), Ukhrul(34D,15B), Tamenglong (24D,10B), Jiribam(33D,8B), Moreh(16D,1B), Kamjong (3D,1B), Kangpokpi (4D,OB), Kakching (14D,21B), Noney(2D,OB) and Pherzawl (6D,2B) and in CCC s, 18’7D and 56B filled cylinders are made available on Thursday, the control room said.
So far 483335 individuals have been vaccinated in the state.
