Imphal: A total of 660 Covid-19 patients were recovered while 353 persons were confirmed as new positive cases in a day in Manipur.
“Today, 660 persons were discharged. 343 were from home isolation, 16 were from RIMS, 8 were from JNIMS, 93 were from CCCs and 200 were from CHICs,” state Covid-19 common control room said.
The fresh cases were from Imphal East (88), Imphal West (98), Thoubal (32), Bishnupur (55), ICakching (45), Ukhrul (9), Churachandpur (13), Chandel (2), Tamenglong (10) and Noney (1).
In the last 24 hours, the State Level Covid 19 Deaths Audit Committee has reported eight Covid 19 deaths. The District wise distributions are Imphal West (1), Imphal East (1), Thoubal (1), Bishnupur (3), Kakching (1) and Senapati (1). The facility wise distributions are RIMS (5), JNIMS (1), Raj Medicity (1) and CCC Lakoipat (1). The cumulative number of deaths is 1055, the control room said.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 64,418. The number of active cases is 9,298. The recovery rate is 83.92 percent, it added.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 1882 D-type oxygen cylinders and 287 B- type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur. District hospitals and government institutions have 460D,114B filled cylinders out of these Bishnupur (110D,9B), Chandel (34D,9B), Churachandpur (96D,0B), Senapati (48D,OB) , Thoubal (72D,33B), Ukhrul (34D,15B), Tamenglong (8D,7B), Jiribam (33D,12B), Month (21D,8B), Karnjong (3D,1B), Kangpokpi (4D,OB), Kakching (8D,18B), Noney(2D,OB), Pherzawl (6D,2B) and CCC 213D,59B filled cylinders available on Monday.
The control room said 494104 have so far been vaccinated in Manipur as per latest information.
