Imphal: Even as 11 Covid-19 patients passed away in 24 hours 655 Covid-19 patients were recovered and 549 were confirmed positive in Manipur.
In the last 24 hours, the State Level Covid-19 Deaths Audit Committee has reported 11 Covid 19 deaths. The district wise distributions are Imphal West (2), Imphal East (2), Bishnupur (1), Kakching (2), Chandel (1), Tamenglong (1), Kangpokpi (1) and Churachandpur (1). The facility wise distributions are RIMS (2), JNIMS (5), Shija Hospital (2), Raj Medicity (1) and DH Churachandpur (1). The cumulative number of deaths is 1085, Manipur Covid-19 common control room said on Thursday.
The fresh cases belonged to Imphal East (103), Imphal West (188), Thoubal (49), Bishnupur (53), Kakching (43), Ulchrul (30), Churachandpur (33), Chandel (6), Senapati (4), Tamenglong (14), Tengnoupal (6), Kangpokpi (17), Pherzawl (1) and Noney (2).
The positivity rate was 12.8 percent.
“Today, 655 persons were discharged 344 were from home isolation, 8 were from RIMS, 9 were from JNIMS, 99 were from CCCs and 195 were from CHICs,” the control room said.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 66,171. The number of active cases is 9,174 . The recovery rate is 84.49 percent, it added.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 2128 D-type oxygen cylinders and 412 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur. District hospitals and Government institutions have 461D, 99B type filled cylinders out of these Bishnupur (116D,5B), Chandel (22D,9B), Churachandpur (84D,OB), Senapati (48D,OB), Thoubal (56D,32B), Ukhrul (34D,15B), Tamenglong (4D,OB), Jiribam (45D,12B), Moreh(18D,7B), Kamjong (3D,1B), Kangpokpi (4D,OB), Kakching (19D,16B) Noney (2D,OB), Phernawl (6D,2B) and CCC 334D, 98B filled cylinders were available on Thursday.
So far 510644 persons have been vaccinated in the state.
