Imphal: A total of 4083 Covid-19 patients have been recovered in Manipur as recorded on Friday reducing the active cases to 5,668.
“Today, 4083 persons were discharged. They are from Home Isolation (330), RIMS (13), JNIMS (5), CCCs (86) and CHICs (194). Due to various reasons, 3455 persons are reported as discharged cases only today. Therefore, the total number of recovered cases is considered as 4083 after Reconciliation with reports from IDSP Team, Home Isolation Team, Community Home Isolation and Hospitalization Team as on 24th June, 2021,” the state Covid-19 common control said.
The recovery rate has gone up to 89.87 percent.
Manipur on Friday recorded eight Covid-19 related death cases and 585 fresh cases.
The death cases belonged to Imphal West (1), Imphal East (1), Thoubal (2), Bishnupur (1) and Kakching (3).
With this the cumulative number of Covid-19 related death cases has reached 1093 in the state.
Out of 4857 test results 585 were confirmed positive on this day resulting the positivity rate of 12.8 percent.
The fresh cases were from Bishnupur (54), Chandel (4), Churachandpur (53), Imphal East (101), Imphal West (212), Jiribam (15), Kakching (31), Kangpokpi (15), Noney (2), Senapati (1), Tamenglong (18), Tengnoupal (3), Thoubal (69) and Ukhrul (7).
The cumulative number of positive cases is 66,756, the control room said.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 1795 D-type oxygen cylinders and 324 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur. District hospitals and Government institutions have 479D,94B type filled cylinders out of these Bishnupur (227D,6B), Chandel (34D,9B), Churachandpur (79D,OB), Senapati (48D,OB), Thoubal (74D,32B), Ukhrul (34D,1511), Tamenglong (3D,OB), Jiribam(45D,12B), Moreh(18D,5B), Kamjong (3D,1B), Kangpokpi (4D,OB), Kakching (12D,12B), Pherzawl (6D,2B), Noney (2D,OB) and CCC 330D, 100B filled cylinders available on Friday.
As per latest information 515590 persons have so far been vaccinated in the state.
