Imphal: Manipur on Saturday recorded 15 Covid-19 related death cases, 561 new cases and recovery of 534 patients.
“In the last 24 hours, the State Level Covid 19 Deaths Audit Committee has reported 15 Covid 19 deaths. The District wise distributions are Imphal West (2), Imphal East (5), Thoubal (1), Bishnupur (3), Tamenglong (2), Chandel (1) and Churachandpur (1). The cumulative number of deaths is 1108,” state Covid-19 common control room said.
The fresh cases belonged to Imphal East (77), Imphal West (203), Thoubal (70), Bishnupur (45), Kakching (40), Ukhrul (17), Churachandpur (57), Chandel (7), Tamenglong (4), Tengnoupal (13), Jiribam (6), Pherzawl (1) Kangpokpi (14) and CAPF (7).
The cumulative number of positive cases is 67,317. The number of active cases is 5,680. The recovery rate is 89.91 percent, the control room said.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 1739 D-type oxygen cylinders and 365 B- type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur, the control room said.
A total of 523899 individuals have been vaccinated so far in the state.
