Imphal: One unknown person, about 40 years of age, found unconscious at Prajatrantra Galli, Thangal Bazaar, Imphal at about 8 am on Sunday was declared brought dead at Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS).
A press note issued by City Police station said it got the information that one unknown male aged about 40 years was found laying unconscious at Prajatrantra Galli, Thangal Bazaar.
A team of City police station rushed to the area and evacuated the unknown man to RIMS hospital, here for medical treatment. However, the concerned doctor declared that the man was brought dead (at 8.20am).
In connection with the incident a UD case has been registered at the said police station under section 174 CrPC for investigation. The body is kept at RIMS mortuary for identification.
Particulars of the body is mentioned as height about 5 feet, elongated face black hair, black eyes, medium body built, dark complexion. The body wears a shirt and pant of brown colour.
