Imphal: With the recovery of 608 Covid-19 patients as recorded on Monday the recovery rate has moved up at 90.10 percent in Manipur.
The recovered persons were discharged from home isolation (291), RIMS (33), JNIMS (7), CCCs (86) and CHICs (191).
In the past twenty-four hours, 432 persons were confirmed as new Covid-19 positive cases. They belonged to Imphal East (83), Imphal West (100), Thoubal (85), Bishnupur (49), Kakching (22), Ukhrul (2), Churachandpur (44), Chandel (4), Senapati (4), Tamenglong (8), Tengnoupal (2) and Kangpokpi (29), Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.
“In the last 24 hours, the State Level Covid 19 Deaths Audit Committee has reported 6 Covid 19 deaths. The district wise distributions are Imphal East (2), Kakching (1), Kangpokpi (I) and Churachandpur (2). The cumulative number of deaths is 1130,” it said.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 68,418 and the number mber of active cases is 5,642, it added.
A total of 1446 D-type oxygen cylinders and 445 B-type oxygen cylinders were made available to different health facilities of Manipur in 24 hours.
