Imphal: A total of 780 persons were confirmed as new Covid-19 positive cases while 488 Covid patients were recovered in Manipur in 24 hours.
Eleven Covid-19 deaths were recorded on Tuesday in the state.
The new positive cases were from Imphal East (160), Imphal West (201), Thoubal (120), Bishnupur (58), Kakching (45), Ukhrul (7), Churachandpur (153), Chandel (3), Senapati (3), Tengnoupal (8), Jiribam (2), Kamjong (3), Noney (11), Phemawl (1) Kangpokpi (3) and CAPF (2).
The death cases belonged to Imphal West (6), Imphal East (1), Thoubal (3) and Chandel (1).
On this day 488 persons were discharged from home isolation (228), RIMS (19), JNIMS (7), CCCs (90) and CHICs (144).
The cumulative number of deaths is 1141. The cumulative number of positive cases is 69,198. The number of active cases is 5,923. The recovery rate is 89.79 percent, Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 1288 D-type oxygen cylinders and 337 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
As per latest information 548916 persons have been vaccinated so far in the state.
