Imphal: Manipur on Friday recorded 13 Covid-19 related death cases, 656 positive cases and 603 recoveries of Covid patients.
The death cases belonged to Imphal West (5), Imphal East (3), Thoubal (2), Bishnupur (1), Kakching (1) and Chandel (1). The facility wise distributions are RIMS (4), JNIMS (4), Raj Medicity (2), and Shija Hospital (3).
The cumulative number of deaths is 1175, Covid-19 state common control room said.
The new positive cases were from Imphal East (104), Imphal West (212), Thoubal (73), Bishnupur (101), Kakching (53), Ukhrul (4), Churachandpur (60), Chandel (12), Senapati (7), Tamenglong (1), Tengnoupal (5), ICamjong (1), Pherzawl (9), Jiribam (1), Noney (2), Kangpokpi (6) and CAPF (5).
The recovered persons were discharged from home isolation (287), RIMS (16), JNIMS (10), CCCs (139) and CHICs (151).
The cumulative number of positive cases is 70,954. The number of active cases is 5,970. The recovery rate is 89.93 percent.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 2038 D-type oxygen cylinders and 493 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
As on Wednesday 15485 persons were vaccinated. The cumulative number of vaccinated persons was 682110 (1st dose 597479 and 2nd dose 84631).
“Today, IDSP Manipur has reported that nasopharyngeal swabs collected from 69 individuals have been confirmed as Delta variant positive,” the control room said. Eighteen cases of Delta variant cases were reported earlier in the state.
