Imphal: Churachandpur Battalion under the aegis of IGAR (South) apprehended two active insurgents of HPC(D)- LK Hmar in Churachandpur district, Manipur on Friday.
Based on specific input from reliable sources, troops of Assam Rifles launched an operation which led to the apprehension, the Assam Rifles said on Saturday.
The insurgents have been handed over to Churachandpur Police station for further investigation.
