Manipur regains Covid-19 patient recovery rate of 90 percent

Imphal: With the recovery of 609 Covid-19 patients the recovery rate has risen to 19.12 percent in Manipur on Monday.

Manipur Covid-19 common control room said in the past twenty-four hours, 432 persons were confirmed as new Covid-19 positive cases.

The positive cases belonged to Imphal East (118), Imphal West (73), Thoubal (44), Bishnupur (78), Kakching (31), Ukhrul (7), Churachandpur (14), Chandel (24), Senapati (10), Tamenglong (7), Tengnoupal (1), Jiribam (4), and Kangpokpi (21).

The State Level Covid-l9 Deaths Audit Committee has reported eight Covid-19 related deaths. The district wise distributions were Imphal West (4), Imphal East (1), Kakching (1), Ukhrul (1) and Senapati (1).

The recovered persons were discharged from home isolation (340), RIMS (6), JNIMS (10), CCCs (102) and CHICs (151).

The cumulative number of deaths is 1204, that of positive cases is 72,718 and the number of active cases is 5,974, the control room said.

In the last 24 hours, a total of 1470 D-type oxygen cylinders and 378 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur.

So far 738631(1st dose 652691 and 2nd dose 85940) vaccination have been recorded in the state.
