Biren inspects 120 ft high statue of Sagol Kangjei

Imphal: Chief minister N. Biren Singh inspected the progress of the ongoing construction work of the 120 feet high statue of a Sagol Kangjei (Polo) player riding a pony at Marjing Hills, Imphal East on Wednesday.

Biren said the construction of the 120 feet high statue has been affected and delayed due to the pandemic. He also informed that concerned officials had been instructed to expedite the work and complete it by October 2021.

He also inspected the mass vaccination drive held at Ibudhou Marjing Lai Haraopham and Primary Health Centre, Heingang, Imphal East.
