Imphal: Manipur on Friday recorded 10 Covid-19 related death cases, 853 positive cases and 959 recoveries.
The positive cases were from Imphal East (150), Imphal West (276), Thoubal (85), Bishnupur (66), Kakching (97), Ulchrul (2), Churachandpur (95), Chandel (14), Senapati (19), Tamenglong (5), Tengnoupal (4), Jiribam (5), Kamjong (1), Noney (5), Kangpokpi (29) and CAPF (4).
The positivity rate was 15.8 percent.
The death cases belonged to Imphal West (2), Imphal East (3), Thoubal (1), Kakching (2), Kangpokpi (1) and Churachandpur (1).
The cumulative number of deaths is 1251, state Covid-19 common control room said.
“Today, 490 persons were discharged. They are from home isolation (199), RIMS (18), JNIMS (10, CCCs (100) and CHICs (162). Due to various reasons, 469 persons are reported as discharged cases only today. Therefore, the total number of recovered cases is considered as 959,” the control room said.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 76,032. The number of active cases is 6,610. The recovery rate is 89.66 percent, it added.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 2265 D-type oxygen cylinders and 419 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
The vaccine doses administered on Thursday was 24675. The cumulative doses was 851377 (1st dose 759195 and 2nd dose 92182).
The control room said as on Thursday the grand total of admitted Covid patients is 1964 and number of beds available is 2234.
