Imphal: A total of 788 persons were confirmed positive for Covid-19 out of 5950 test results released on Saturday resulting to positivity rate of 13.2 percent in Manipur.
Seven Covid-19 related death cases were reported in 24 hours.
The fresh positive cases were from Imphal East (190), Imphal West (285), Thoubal (55), Bishnupur (68), Kakching (56), Ukhrul (II), Churachandpur (74), Chandel (10), Senapati (it), Tamenglong (6), Tengnoupal (1), Jiribam (2), Kamjong (12), Pherzawl (1), Noney (5) and Kangpokpi (1).
The death cases belonged to Imphal West (3), Imphal East (1), Bishnupur (2) and Kakching (1).
A total of 483 persons were discharged from home isolation (174), RIMS (15), JNIMS (17), CCCs (167) and CHICs (110).
The cumulative number of deaths is 1258. The cumulative number of positive cases is 76,820. The number of active cases is 6,908. The recovery rate is 89.36 percent.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 1670 D-type oxygen cylinders and 379 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
The number of doses of Covid-19 vaccine administered on Friday was 13105. The cumulative doses is 864482 (1st dose 771102 and 2nd dose 93380).
The number of patients, as on Friday, admitted/adjusted against available bed strengths in different treatment facilities in the state are RIMS (216/224), JNIMS (203/286), I Land Hospital (36/60), District Covid Facilities (146/332), MSF (22/30), Private Covid Hospitals (216/360) and CCCs (1139/2906). The grand total of admitted patients is 1978 and number of beds available is 2220, state Covid-19 common control room said.
