Imphal: Khoupum battalion under the aegis of IGAR (South) organized a webinar on ‘career opportunities in armed forces’ for girls in Khoupum valley on Monday.
Major Amritharaj was the main speaker of the webinar. He educated the local girls on various types of recruitment entries in the Indian army including recruitment in corps of military police and Assam Rifles. The speaker also addressed various questions by the young girls and gave valuable suggestions.
The webinar was organized with the aim to motivate the local girls to join the armed forces. The webinar was attended by 21 young and motivated girls of Khoupum valley.
