Imphal: Manipur on Thursday recorded 1039 fresh Covid-19 positive cases and 14 Covid related death cases while 677 patients were recovered.
The fresh Covid cases were confirmed among the test result of 7056 samples released on Thursday. The positivity rate was 14.7 percent.
The positive cases were from Imphal East (270), Imphal West (289), Thoubal (72), Bishnupur (94), Kakching (85), Uldirul (1), Churachandpur (98), Chandel (23), Senapati (15), Tamenglong (44), Tengnoupal (4), Pherzawl (1), Noney (26), Kamjong (5) and Kangpokpi (12).
The death cases belonged to Imphal West (5), Bishnupur (3), Kakching (1), Kangpokpi (2) and Churachandpur (3).
The recovered cases were discharged from home isolation (298), RIMS (19), JNIMS (14), CCCs (147) and CH1Cs (199).
The cumulative number of deaths is 1340. The cumulative number of positive cases is 81,560. The number of active cases is 8,558. The recovery rate is 87.86 percent, state Covid-19 common control room said.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 1780 D-type oxygen cylinders and 390 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
Total doses of Covid-19 vaccine administered on Wednesday was 34194. The cumulative doses administered in the state was 955923 (1st dose of 852179 and 2nd dose of 103744).
The number of patients as on Wednesday admitted/adjusted against available bed strengths in different treatment facilities in the state are RIMS (223/224), JNIMS (221/286), I Land Hospital (28/60), District Covid Facilities (145/347), MSF (26/30), Private Covid Hospitals (219/330) and CCCs (1271/2946). The grand total of admitted patients is 2287 and number of beds available is 2090, the control room said.
