KCP (N) cadre apprehended

Imphal: ​Kangvai battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) apprehended an ‘active insurgent’ of KCP (N) in Bishnupur district, Manipur on Saturday.

Troops of Assam Rifles along with Moirang Police launched an operation which led to the apprehension, the Assam Rifles said in a Press release on Sunday. However, it did not provide the details of the insurgent.

​The insurgent has been handed over to Moirang Police station for further investigation, the Assam Rifles said.
