Imphal: A total of 1207 were confirmed positive for Covid-19 our of test results of 8327 samples released on Sunday.
The positivity rate was 14.5 percent.
Thirteen lives were lost to the contagion on this day. The cumulative death cases has reached 1478.
The 13 victims belonged to Imphal West (3), Thoubal (2), Kakching, (2), Chandel (2), Imphal East (1), Bishnupur (1), Churachandpur (1) and Tamenglong (1).
The fresh cases were from Imphal East (294), Imphal West (325), Thoubal (106), Bishnupur (99), Kakching (58), Ukhrul (11), Churachandpur (105), Chandel (44), Senapati (3), Tamenglong (40), Tengnoupal (17), Kangpokpi (54), Kamjong (4), Pherzawl (1), Jiribam (14), Noney (28) and CAPF (4).
“Today, 864 persons were discharged. They are from Home Isolation (315), RIMS (2), JNIMS (7), CCCs (229) and CRICs (311),” state Covid-19 common control room said.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 92,667 . The number of active cases is 10,581. The recovery rate is 86.98 percent, it added.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 2221 D-type oxygen cylinders and 395 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
Till Saturday 1194736 vaccine doses (1st dose of 1029436 and 2nd dose 165300) have been administered.
