Imphal: Manipur on Tuesday recorded 1165 Covid-19 positive cases and 11 Covid related death cases while 876 patients were recovered.
The fresh cases were confirmed out of 6329 test results.
They belonged to Imphal East (299), Imphal Wool (337), Thoubal (58), Bislumpur (105), Kakching (63), Ukhrul (12), Churachandpur (123), Chandel (66), Senapati (8), Tamenglong (31), Tengnoupal (2), Noney (9), Kangpokpi (23), Kamjong (12) Jiribam (13) and CAPF (4).
Two each of the death cases were from Imphal East, Imphal West, Churachandpur and Thoubal, and one each belonged to Kangpokpi, Kakching and Ukhrul.
“Out of 11 deaths, 8 persons had co-morbidities. Out of 11 deaths, only 3 of them were vaccinated (1st dose),” Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.
The cumulative number of deaths was 1498.
The recovered patients were discharged from home isolation (292), RIMS (21), JNIMS (12), CCCs (192) and CHICs (359).
The cumulative number of positive cases is 94,821. The number of active cases is 10,802. The recovery rate is 87.02 percent, the control room said.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 2160 D-type oxygen cylinders and 463 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
So far till Monday 1234030 vaccines (1st dose of 1055749 and 2nd dose of 178281) have beenadministered in the state.
