Imphal: Manipur on Thursday witnessed 11 Covid-19 related death cases which included one fully vaccinated person and three 1st dose vaccinated persons.
“Out of 11 deaths, eight persons had co-morbidities. Out of 11 death, only 3 of them were vaccinated (1st dose). Out of 11 deaths, only 1 of them was vaccinated (2nd dose),” Manipur Covid-19 common control room said as per State Level Covid 19 Deaths Audit Committee report.
The new death cases belonged Imphal West (1), Imphal East (4), Bishnupur (I), Kakching (2), Ukhrul (1), Tengnoupal (1) and Churachandpur (1).
A total of 1000 persons were confirmed positive out of test results of 6655 samples released on this day. The positivity rate was 15 percent.
The fresh positive cases were from Imphal East (166), Imphal West (299), Thoubal (62), Bishnupur (133), Kakching (97), Ukhrul (23), Churachandpur (125), Chandel (23), Senapati (28), Tamenglong (9), Tengnoupal (2), ICangpokpi (29) Kamjong (3) and CAPF (1).
A total of 2016 patients were recovered. The recovery rate in the state was 87.17 percent.
The cumulative number of positive cases was 96,824 and the number of active cases was 10,895.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 2341 D-type oxygen cylinders and 369 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
As on Wednesday the cumulative number of persons vaccinated was 1275154 (1st dose 1079805 and 2nd dose 195349).
