ICICI donates ambulance, oxygen concentrators

Imphal: Considering the prevailing situation of Covid-19, ICICI Foundation for Inclusive Growth (ICICI Foundation) handed over one medical ambulance and 51 oxygen concentrators to the chief minister N. Biren Singh in a solemn function held at the chief minister’s secretariat on Thursday.

The medical ambulance is equipped with power backup wherever required through UPS or Rooftop Solar with battery. The oxygen concentrators will be provided to CHCs, PHCs etc. across different district districts of the state.

ICICI Foundation, CSR arm of ICICI Group, is providing maximum support towards the State Government in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic.

Secretary to chief minister Ningthoujam Geoffrey, deputy secretary to chief minister P. Gojendro Singh, officials of ICICI and others were present during the function.

The North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Limited (NEDFi) under its CSR initiative donated Rs15 lakh to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for the upgradation of oxygen infrastructure in the state. Biren received the donation amount.
