Imphal: Twenty patients with Covid-19 passed away in 24 hours while 874 were tested positive at the positivity ŕate of 13.1 percent in Manipur.
The death cases belonged to Imphal West (4), Imphal East (5), Thoubal (3), Bishnupur (5), Ukhrul (I), Jiribam (I) and Chandel (1).
The cumulative number of deaths was 1541 on Friday.
Out of new deaths, 14 persons had co-morbidities and four of them were vaccinated (1st dose), state Covid-19 common control room said on Friday.
The new positive cases were from Imphal East (171), Imphal West (252), Thoubal (49), Bishnupur (137), Kakching (75), Ukhrul (13), Churachandpur (84), Chandel (16), Senapati (13), Tamenglong (8), Tengnoupal (2), Jiribam (4), Noney (19), Pherzawl (1), Kangpokpi (27), Kamjong (1) and CAPF (2).
“Today, 1014 persons were discharged. They are from Home Isolation (436), RIMS (44), JNIMS (13), CCCs (174) and CHICs (347),” the control room said.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 97,69. The number of active cases is 10,735. The recovery rate is 87.43 percent.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 2246 D-type oxygen cylinders and 308 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
As on Thursday a cumulative number of 1290134 vaccine (1st dose of 1088797 and 2nd dose of 201337) have been administered.
